A few weeks ago, Jared and I went on another weekend road trip! We drove to Memphis to visit one of my closest friends from college. It was a 7 hour drive all the way through Arkansas. So the scenery was not the most beautiful thing I've ever seen... But Memphis was so fun! Michelle lives right in the middle of downtown where all the fun is happening. She took us to lots of yummy restaurants and we had so much fun getting out of town for the weekend to see a familiar face! I learned a lot about Memphis and some major events that happened there. We saw the hotel that Martin Luther King was killed.

So we learned a little history, then we had lots of fun! Here are some pictures from our trip.

We might live in the middle of nowhere here in Missouri, but we are not too far from a lot of major cities. Our goal is to take advantage of that over the next year or so and make as many road trips as we can to visit all the cool places we have never been too. I'm hoping Chicago is next!
