Punta Cana- August 2015

This year my parents are celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary & were so generous to take all of us kids to the Dominican Republic. It was a trip of a lifetime! We stayed at the Paradisus Punta Cana Resort and it was the most amazing trip with all of my favorite people. Punta Cana is such an amazing place and I've never been anywhere so beautiful. I've been to Hawaii, Cancun, and countless beaches but nothing compared to this. Thanks mom & dad for the best memories!

Private boat tour to snorkel in the middle of the ocean!

I celebrated my 24th birthday with everyone while we were there!

In 2016 there will be 2 grandchildren in our family so lots of big changes for the Bispo family! It was so fun to go on a trip all together. I can't wait to go back again!

Exciting News!

So I officially only do a post about once a year! I should probably add blogging to my New Year's Resolution.  Jared & I have some very exciting news we shared last month with everyone! We're having a baby in June!

How far along: 14 weeks
Size of Baby: large lemon
Gender: We won't find out until about 20 weeks! We had an ultrasound at 13 & the tech guessed it was a girl, but it's still too soon! My mom, sisters, & grammy are set on it being a girl too!
Weight Gain: I'm still about 5 pounds below my per-pregnancy weight... thanks to lots of morning sickness!
Movement: I haven't felt anything yet and I was told my placenta is attached towards the front of my uterus so I may not feel any movement until 20 weeks or later.
Sleep: I've been sleeping pretty normal and maybe better than before I was pregnant.
Workouts: My exercising has gone down to about 3-4 days workouts a week due to lots of sickness but I'm hoping to get back into 5-6 workouts very soon!
Maternity Clothes: I basically live in leggings and yoga pants 95% of my life so I've just upped that to 100% and I'm still pretty comfortable. haha But some shirts are getting snug!
Cravings/Aversions:This changes every 10 minutes.. If something is sounding good and I don't eat it within 10 minutes, it stops sounding good and makes me so nauseous!
Best Part of the Week: It's been 3 days since I've gotten sick so I'm hopeful it is finally fading and getting to hear the baby's heartbeat again!
Can't Wait For: Feeling the baby kick! And, I'm really, really looking forward to finding out the gender in a about month!

Sorry... I'm not too good at this.

So obviously I haven't been the best blogger... Crazy how much time has passed since I last posted! We went to Los Angeles this summer for my cousin Leigh & Melissa's wedding. We were able to spend about a week and a half there splitting in between both of our families. We had the annual Bispo trip to Disneyland and everybody was there! The wedding was beautiful and it was such a fun trip!

Then back to Missouri we went. I started working with kids with mental illnesses and I've been there almost 6 months now. It's a pretty draining job and it has its ups and downs but I am learning so much. We bought a new car! I'm commuting a little for work and we needed a car that will be able to make it through all the snow!

Halloween came and went so fast!
We carved pumpkins and passed out candy to all the neighborhood kids.

In November, Jared & I were pretty burnt out from work and noticed that the BYU swim team would be swimming in Las Vegas over Veteran's Day weekend, so we jumped at the chance to see Kerra and watch her swim! My family drove and met us there! Kerra was pretty surprised! :)

It was Jared's first time in Vegas so it was so much fun exploring the strip ( we rented a convertible), 70 degree weather was beautiful, In N out numerous times... and we even bought tickets to see Daniel Tosh ( jared is obsessed with him) and it was a great show! Jared bet on a football game and won some money! I might have lost a little control on the slot machines...

I cooked Thanksgiving at our house this year and we had another couple over to share it with! This is the only picture I got... we were just to excited about eating!

I've been crafting a little still trying to get our house exactly how i want it to look. Here is a coffee table I got for free and recently redid.

Our living room is empty because our new couch is being delivered today! FINALLY.. so excited!

Christmas is only a few weeks away and we are driving to Minnesota to spend time with Brad & Amber in their new home! My parents and Kayde are flying out there after Christmas to visit for a few days too. We are so excited to see some family over the holidays and to have Brad & Amber only 7 hours away!

I'm going to try to do better at blogging. I don't announce this blog... it's kinda a secret, but I know that those of you who know about it and read, love and miss you all! And Come visit us. :)
